The function of the Keypegs is to allow the cellist greater head movement and freedom by means of the removal of tuning peg handles on the right side of the peg box. Keypegs are usually requested by professional cellists who are drawn to the ergonomic advantages of increased movement, release of tension, and better overall posture. No alteration is made to the cello or scroll itself, and your original pegs can easily be replaced as easily as replacing a string. There are basic installation directions that come with the product.
